Arizona will look to end its two game skid today when it faces No. 18 Stanford this afternoon in Palo Alto (3:00pm ET start time, FOX). College Football Saturday Odds are forecasting a Cardinal win, though, with the host school listed as a -10 against the spread favorite in this Pac-12 clash. Today’s game total is set at 54 points and Arizona is drawing +310 moneyline odds ($100 wins $310) to win its fourth game of the season.
Arizona’s season got off to a wonderful start as it won its first three games, including a home dog meeting with Oklahoma State, but things have gone haywire since the Wildcats opened conference play.
Rich Rodriguez saw his team get drilled 49-0 in its conference opener at Oregon two weekends ago and it last week it fell 38-35 as a home favorite to Oregon State. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, their run does not get any easier this afternoon.
The 3-1 Cardinal is coming off their first loss of the season, a 17-13 loss at Washington. Stanford, which upset USC 21-14 on September 15th, is, no doubt, anxious to get back on track and it should do so playing in front of the home crowd.
Stanford has won 17 of its last 18 home games and it is 7-3 both straight up and against the spread in its last 10 games against Arizona.
Those numbers will almost certainly improve today as the Wildcats offense struggles to find the end zone against the Cardinal’s stingy defense.
Arizona vs Stanford College Football Odds:
Arizona Wildcats +10 (-110), Over 54 (-110), +310 (Moneyline)
Stanford Cardinal -10 (-110), Under 54 (-110), -370 (Moneyline)
