It's a Big Ten battle on Saturday night in prime time as the Wisconsin Badgers travel to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 pm EST start time and it will be televised live on ABC. Currently the odds for the game have Nebraska as 11 point favorites.

Last season the Badgers welcomed in Nebraska to the Big Ten with a huge beatdown, 48-17. This year the roles are going to be reversed as Nebraska will be looking for revenge and Wisconsin is laying on the ropes. Sure, the Badgers have gotten out to a 3-1 record overall but they lost a game at Oregon State and they've struggled to win their other three games against Northern Iowa, Utah State and UTEP.

Wisconsin hasn't been able to cover a point spread yet and comes in averaging just 22 points per game. Each team has three wins against the other in this series. Turnovers proved to be huge for the Badgers last season as they were able to capitalize offensively on many Nebraska miscues. This year the Huskers will look to have a role reversal. That game last season was Nebraska's first in the Big Ten and it was in prime time, where the Huskers were embarrassed. Montee Ball had a huge game scoring four touchdowns but it's not clear whether or not he's going to play tonight. It's been noted that he's been cleared to play officially, but is he going to be 100 percent? Probably not. Just how much will be be able to show in tonight's game remains to be seen.

Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez has nine touchdown passes this season compared to just one pick this year. Tonight's contest will only be the second time the schools have faced each other since 1974. The Huskers nearly scored 80 last week in a blowout of Idaho State as Rex Burkhead returned and scored two touchdowns. Wisconsin has had some major quarterback issues so far this season as Danny O'Brien really hasn't been what the Badgers were looking for.

Without Russell Wilson in the lineup anymore, Wisconsin has really struggled offensively. He was a great game-manager and kept the Badgers from turning the football over. The Badgers have been really successful overall the past few seasons, however, going 26-4 overall in their last 30 regular season games and they've lost none of those games by more than 10 points.

Nebraska seems to be a bit overrated in this contest, if for nothing other than Wisconsin is too high profile a team to be a double digit dog. We think the Badgers are going to be able to keep this one close if Ball plays (we think he will) and we're expecting a big game from O'Brien. We're not expecting the Badgers to win this game outright, but we think they can stay within the spread in this one.
