It's a primetime college football matchup on Saturday night as the Arizona State Sun Devils travel to take on the Missouri Tigers. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 pm EST start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the odds for the game have Missouri favored by 3.5 points.

Arizona State has been a bit of a surprise so far this season, racing out to a 2-0 record and besting both Northern Arizona and Illinois. Yes, they are supposed to beat those teams but it's the way the Sun Devils beat those teams that raises some eye brows — ASU has been dominating on offense and is giving up an average of just 10 points in those two contests. Missouri joins the SEC and right away got a taste of that conference with a beatdown loss at home to the hands of Georgia last week. Mizzou's only win is over Southeastern Louisiana.

The Tigers have a revenge in this spot as Arizona State picked up a 37-30 win last season in overtime. There were nearly 1,000 yards of total offense in that game (993) but there were also a ton of penalties (23).

Missouri is going to have to stop the run against an Arizona State team that has already notched 10 rushing touchdowns in their two games. That Tiger defense is beat up though as they surrendered 31 second half points to a Georgia team that just wore them down overall. Offensively they struggled as well, totaling less than 375 yards of total offense and turning it over three times.

This is a great atmosphere we have in this game tonight. Arizona State and Missouri are two athletic teams. Mizzou has South Carolina on the road on deck while ASU plays a Utah team that hasn't lived up to the hype in the first few weeks of the college football season.

Free Pick: We like Arizona State to win the game outright in this one. They have been very impressive on both sides of the ball so far this season and we just aren't sure on Missouri now that they have to play big games every week in the SEC. This one is going to be fun to watch but we're pulling for the Sun Devils.
