The Baltimore Ravens travel to take on the St. Louis Rams in the fourth and final NFL Preseason game for both clubs. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 pm EST start time and it will be televised locally in both markets. Currently the odds have the Rams favored by 5 points.
Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens are one of the sexy picks to win the Super Bowl this season. They have the tools on both sides of the ball to accomplish the goal and now with some pressure on them, how will they handle it? They travel tonight to take on the St. Louis Rams and Sam Bradford. This should be an interesting game as the Ravens have dominated two of their games, beating Atlanta and Jacksonville by a combined score of 79-34. Their only loss came at home to the Detroit Lions in the second week of the preseason.
The St. Louis Rams will have to rely heavily on Bradford and running back Steven Jackson this season. He scored just five touchdowns last year, but should be able to bounce back this year if Bradford can stay healthy. Jackson is a bruiser that can also catch the ball out of the backfield and should help make the team a bit better because he'll probably get used a bit less. The Rams have been bad for a few years, but they are building things up with some quality draft picks. It's still going to take some time but I like the Rams moving forward this season and beyond.
In tonight's contest, we like the Ravens and Ray Rice. They are getting five points in this game to a Rams team that is going to be working on depth just like them. Sometimes in these final preseason games the starters don't even see the field but we're expecting Baltimore to have their guys on the field for some quality snaps tonight. They're obviously not going to play the entire time, but I think they'll get a few series in and score a few times.
