Tiger Woods is in the second to the last pairing for the final round of the British Open on Sunday. The British Open starts up on Sunday morning from the Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Course in St. Annes, England. Adam Scott has held up his end of the bargain so far in the tournament, clinching a 54-hole lead with an excellent third round on Saturday. The 2012 British Open Tiger Woods Tee Time is set for 9:10 a.m. EST on Sunday. Coverage will be held LIVE on ESPN beginning at 6 a.m. EST.
The final pairing of the 2012 British Open Final Round will see Scott and Graeme McDowell tee off last. It will be the second consecutive final pairing in a Major for McDowell, who played with Jim Furyk in the last pair to go off the opening tee at the U.S. Open. Scott had a great round on Saturday afternoon from the island, carding an overall 68, which was good for 2-under par. While that wasn't the best score of the day, it was the third best overall score of anybody in the Top 10 left in the tournament. That alone will keep him atop the British Open standings with his 4-shot lead.
A couple of great players are right on the heels of Scott, including Tiger Woods, McDowell, Zach Johnson and the leader after two rounds, Brandt Snedeker. The foursome will more than likely push Scott to the brink, and it will be probably the toughest round ever for Scott. Snedeker struggled in his third round, shooting a modest 3-over par 73, which dropped him into a tie in second place with McDowell. Woods was even after his 18 holes on Saturday, with three birdies and three bogeys on the day. He's played well on the opening nine holes so far in the tournament, but a bogey on the 15th hole kept him from finishing with a 1-under score.
