The competition is held at Nathan's Famous Corporation's original location, and best-known restaurant at the corner of Surf and Stillwell Avenues in Coney Island, in Brooklyn. Typically the contest is held live on ESPN, but this year it will be on tape delay. Only in America, it seems. Last year, the four-time-defending champion Chestnut won his fifth title overall by consuming 62 hot dogs and buns in just ten minutes. Insane.
