The NBA Playoffs continue Thursday night in Game 2 between the visiting Los Angeles Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs. The NBA Playoff odds for the game have the Spurs favored by 10.5 points. The game is scheduled for a 9:30 pm start time and it will be televised live on ESPN. The spread shows that bookmakers have a prediction of a big win for the Spurs.

Picks: Tony Parker and the Spurs dominated the opening game of the series, beating up on Chris Paul and the Clippers. The Spurs opened as 11 point favorites in that game and won by 16 points. Tonight they are favored by 10.5 points, but what will the outcome of the game be? Most people are predicting another blowout win for the hometown Spurs. Both Parker and Paul played pretty poorly in that first game, so suspect the point guards to be better tonight. The two combined to shoot just 4 of 22. Tim Duncan and the older Spurs had some time to wait around for this game to happen after blowing through the Utah Jazz in the opening round. The Clippers have played a lot of basketball lately and it won't get any easier. San Antonio took advantage of some tired legs from the Clippers, hitting a bevy of shots from the perimeter, connecting on 13 3-pointers. The Clippers are banged up and their best players are all taking the court with injuries. They aren't deep either, something where the Spurs have an obvious advantage. Blake Griffin is playing with an injured knee. He also turned his ankle in Game 1. However, he's still going to give it a go tonight as the Clippers are looking to steal home court advantage from the Spurs. That's going to be easier said than done. If they are going to contend tonight, they're going to have to get a great effort from Paul, who is averaging 21 points when the Clippers win in the playoffs, and 16 when they lose. Might not seem like too big of a difference, but it's making a major difference in the Clippers games.

Prediction: We expected the Spurs to be a bit rusty in the first game of this series but they rolled up 108 points and shot 52 percent from the floor. In fact, the Clippers were the team that looked rusty. More so, they pretty much looked tired. They shot a decent 47 percent from the floor but were out-rebounded 47-34 and managed to give up 29 assists to the Spurs on 39 made shots. The defense for LA is going to have to get better tonight or they are going to get blown out again. Taking this many points with a dog in the playoffs could prove to be a nice little payoff for us, so we're going to scoop the points. Spurs 98, Clippers 90
