Update after the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs: The Philadelphia 76ers paid big for underdog bettors as they were +1100 ($100 wager paid $1100) to advance and based on the odds only had a 7% chance of advancing to round #2 over the Chicago Bulls. The Heat rolled over the Knicks and proved why they were -1100 favorites in the series over New York. The Pacers were another favorite who moved on in the East at -800. The oddmakers had the Celtics and Hawks series a coin-flip as Boston advanced at -135. In the Western Conference the Spurs were monster favorites and moved on at -2500 (95% chance of moving on to second round). The Thunder at -600 and Lakers at -240 were also favored (and did) move on in the NBA Playoffs. The Clippers had a 41% chance to advance at +135 and did so by defeating the Grizzlies in game #7 on the road.
