Alright, I suppose it's high time I got the TNT Thursday blog up...this was a fun one, though...soapbox day was a rousing success
If you don't have a lead pipe, at least you are cheap. $1.00 huh?
Seriously though, sir. Why can't the Bulls beat the Hawks?
Hahaha, indeed, my package is not unlike a lead pipe. If someone would just tell my fiancee
Package = Lead Pipe
Dude, it's like YOU'RE WALKING AROUND WITH A LEAD PIPE.
Ok. You can quit promoting your package. I'm married. ;)
Nice call tonight, Dan.
I didn't touch side or total in Phnx/Bos and enjoyed the stress-free Celtics victory as a genuine fan of NBA basketball (serenity now), glad to see you covered easily.
Oh, and I know I don't talk about my package much (somewhere, Beavis and Butthead just giggled), but tomorrow I'm the ONE DOLLAR capper, so...
stay tuned.
Interesting take, Tara, and I think most folks would agree that a combination of both is really the way to go. The long term stuff for those interested in a season package, and the short term stuff for someone who wants to grab an NBA play on a day where there isn't much college ball, or something of the sort.
TK - I haven't been watching that game, what'd I miss? Is he okay, or is Denver without their solid SG the rest of the way?
And thanks to Elvis and Titus who, nice and quietly, enjoyed what turned out to be a pretty easy winner with the Phx/Bos Over. Diggin' it.
nice win tonight, Dan (whisper)
Congrats on your total! Good call.
Afflalo just twisted his ankle. Didn't look good.
Someone should wring your neck for two things:
1. Wanting to be on the list of Pros who suck, and
2. Wasting your time caring what is said on these "other" forums.
I kid, because I know #2 is arguably part of your job (always gotta know what the competition is up to) and I know what you mean about #1. Kind of like we talked about on Super Bowl ads-- the worst ones were the forgettable ones. We remembered who made the good ones and the bad ones. No press is bad press? Allegedly.
Regardless, I hate to go into this next part, because it is coming from someone who has never had to walk a mile in any of your shoes. I commend how the "younger" generation here does business (Hook, you, Sac, GF) and I'm not meaning to leave any one out. But, if I'm correct, y'all are the ones who promote transparency. I think it is great to have long terms records available, but what is wrong with promoting a good streak every now and then? When did it become so uncool?
Probably not appropriate to discuss in the forums or blogs, but I was just curious. I wouldn't think any less of y'all if you promoted your 10-2 streaks and also had long-term records available. Everyone should promote themselves in the way that makes themselves the most successful. Only you know how to do that. But, I don't think it requires changing your personality or "selling out."
Anyways-- don't change, Mr. Bebe. We love ya.
I will NEVER ignore, and I find your words valid.
Honestly, what set me off on my little soapbox moment was that I was reading OTHER forums, and for some reason as they listed who was AWESOME at Pregame and who SUCKED, they left me off BOTH lists. I found it amusing that I completely stayed off the radar at those types of places...weird, huh?
