Achievments in handicapping: Nick Parsons has been seriously involved in the handicapping industry since the late 1990s and has been successfully wagering on sports for his entire adult life. He has shown an uncanny ability to win at all the major North American sports, as demonstrated by his numerous national titles. Nick’s long-term statistics are sensational. However, in this industry, many like to say it’s not “what have you done”, but “what have you done for me lately.” That’s just fine with Nick, as his current documented records are every bit as impressive as his legendary long term numbers.
Nick’s highest rated play, “The BookieKiller” first gained notoriety in the 2004 college football season, going an astonishing 18-5 for the year. Naturally, that incredible 78.3% win percentage was the highest mark in the nation, (of any service that released a minimum of 20 plays) as documented by the Sports Monitor of Oklahoma City. The following season, Parsons’ “BookieKiller” releases were a powerful 67% in the NFL, again ranking among the best win percentages in the country. Note that Nick generally only releases one or two “BKs” per week.
Bookmakers have also learned to fear Nick’s renowned “Big Easy” selections. These tickets, games which Nick feels will be “lopsided in nature,” are currently on a long-term 65-41 run as of August 2009!
Personal Background: Having already established himself as a rising star in the handicapping business in the early part of the millennium, Parsons, a self-admitted “workaholic,” also decided to return to College as a mature student and get his broadcasting degree.
He enrolled in a "Multi Media" program in Vancouver and the rigorous 2-year course covered radio / television broadcasting / production and writing/publishing.
Nick excelled at school and went on to win many accolades, including making the Deans Honour Roll List, the overall top radio student and the Kerm Carlson Award of Excellence as the overall top student of the course.
After graduating, Nick returned full-time to his own personal handicapping and betting career. With an ever expanding bankroll, that’s proving to be an extremely wise decision.
Teams/Conference/Geographic area you have the best feel for/follow most closely: I do not have a favorite team, conference or geographic area. In fact I don't really even have a favorite sport; when putting out a play in any sport, the most important factor to me is finding 'value in a line'. I've also had great success in finding teams that 'fly under the radar' of public perception.
When are picks typically released: As I just stated above, finding value in a line is my most important factor when handicapping games, therefore you can always expect to see my daily plays released no later than 7 am PST.
CFB plays will be up by Tues/Wed and the NFL is up by Wed/Thur. Be sure to take advantage of these early postings as more often than not the line will tend to move dramatically on most of my releases!
