Analysis:I don't agree with the overnight line move towards the Jays. Yes, they've won two straight and the Mariners look to avoid getting swept. Sanchez had been pitching very well, and most of the season. Boston lit him up his last time out - and he's had a blister - which could be a concern. What I'm seeing in Sanchez is a young pitcher that's about to throw TWICE as many innings this season than any other, and a pitcher that teams might be starting to figure out some. He's allowed four HR's in his last three games - and prior to that he allowed ONE in his previous eight starts. The Jays' pen hasn't done a lot recently - and the ten runs they scored yesterday was only ONE game, since in their previous three games they'd scored four runs. Yes, I know Hernandez isn't what he was, but I think at + money, at home, in a semi-must-win game to both stay in playoff contention AND avoid getting swept - it's a great bet. The only Toronto regular that's really hit him is Bautista, and Jose has been in a huge slump, hitting exactly TWO home runs since August 25th when he came off the DL. In the other afternoon game I do like the over if I can get 8.Pick Made: Sep 21 2016 7:17AM PST
