Analysis:
FIRST FIVE INNINGS
Walker is 4-1 in June and had a 2.36 ERA. The Padres saw him once earlier this season. Shields has been getting hit hard - and the Mariners have hurt him to a man over the years - tons of exposure from his days in the AL. This one simply looks too easy - but I can't leave it off. I don't trust the Seattle bullpen, hence F5.
It seems like a lot of people love the Phillies. That's hard to do - but Lohse has really been horrible this year, so it's more a fade of Milwaukee than a play on Harang. I can't disagree. The money appears to be on the under, and that I do not agree with. The weather is great for the ball to carry.
I can't fade Haren at home. I tried that once too often. Miami and under if you made me.
People are in love with Washington. I like Wisler and can almost dismiss his last outing. They bet that total over 7 which is a significant move off a key number, and usually that would favor a home team. Fister just hasn't been dominant - Atlanta or pass, and over if I could buy it back to 7.
I am not a fan of Lester, period, and because he is so unpredictable he's tough for me to bet on. Bartolo is as well, so I do agree with that move to the over - and no real opinion on the side (yet).
I like Ray quite a bit, and like the D-Backs much better against a LHP so I am seriously considering taking them, maybe F5.
They like the Yankees and Shoemaker has cost me - but I can't bet on Eovaldi here. If the lineups are what they SHOULD be I am considering the Angels at that price at home. Also perhaps a F5 bet because their bullpen can be a stressful thing to watch.
Martinez screwed me/us in Toronto, but that was one start. Chen just isn't THAT good and I have to think Martinez has a better showing, so perhaps the Rangers RL.
Again, everyone loves the Indians and I do, too. I didn't add them last night and there's no real good reason for it other than I assumed most people happened to see the huge line move. We might add them again, but I hate to board a train after it's left the station, and that COULD be the case.
Astros or nothing, and I might make a case for the over. I don't like Volquez on the road.
Hahn is good, but Bettis doesn't suck. That's too steep for me to bet Oakland and it's the same as last night. Rockies RL or Rockies F5 (avoiding the pen) again.
A fair bit of money on the Tigers' over and I am not sure who they think is going to score. Simon beats us when we fade him - perhaps they're looking at AJ against the Tigers when he was in the AL.
Lackey has thrown a ton of pitches so it's the White Sox or nothing.
