966 PIT (-159) Pinnacle vs 965 CWS
dime bet
Analysis:I'm laying the price with the Pirates on Tuesday. Pittsburgh has been red-hot, but their 18-5 run has been overshadowed by the St. Louis Cardinals and the best record in baseball. The Bucs continued their winning ways on Monday, jumping all over Carlos Rodon early then adding a few more runs throughout the contest. Charlie Morton will look to stay perfect after starting 4-0 in four starts in 2015. The right-hander owns a 2.05 ERA & 1.06 WHIP thus far. Morton isn't going to stay at this level all season, but he certainly can here, facing a weak-hitting White Sox lineup. Chicago ranks 27th in team batting average and 26th in OBP in June. And Morton has been virtually unhittable at home, posting a 2.81 ERA & 1.21 WHIP, while allowing just seven home runs in 163 1/3 IP in his previous 27 starts before this season. Morton is backed by MLB's 3rd stingiest bullpen, making the Sox situation even tougher. The Pirates enter on a 16-3 run as a favorite and they're 23-6 in their last 29 against AL teams with a losing record. Meanwhile, the Sox have won just 6 of Jose Quintana's last 26 starts on the road when facing teams with a winning record. I'm backing the Pirates, my Heavy Hitter on Tuesday. Thanks & GL!
