Analysis: These two teams have played their share of high scoring games of late, but I'm playing the Under between the Cowboys & Giants on Wednesday night. The Cowboys shored up some defensive problems in the off-season including beefing up the secondary. But offensively, the line is not at 100% and without Jason Witten, I expect Dallas to attempt to us a ball-controlled type of offense. Dropping back too much against the Giants will lead to plenty of opportunities for New York's solid pass rushers. I did like the way the Dallas "regulars" looked on defense in the preseason and I believe that at this time, the stop unit is the strength of their team. And with an improved secondary, the rest of the defense is also going to benefit, especially the Cowboys pass rush which was already a positive. Meanwhile, the Giants will look to run the ball with a steady mix of David Wilson and Ahmad Bradshaw behind a healthy offensive line. The Giants are on a 6-0 Under run, overall, while the Cowboys are on a 5-1 Under run. I'm playing the Under between the Cowboys & Giants on Wednesday. Thanks! GL! Scott.
