RATING: DOUBLE DIME PLAY

Last year no one expected anything from Auburn and why would they as they lost 16 starters from their National Championship team including NFL Rookie of the Year Cam Newton. Auburn surprised everyone with an 8-5 record and a Bowl appearance. Now the stakes are higher because expectations are higher this season. Last year Auburn was able to surprise people because everyone took them lightly with all the players they lost. This year they will be ready for Auburn. Clemson has been waiting to get on the field and pound someone ever since last years Bowl loss to West Virginia when they were rolled 70-33. Clemson opened last season 8-0 before losing 4 of their last 6 games. Look for Clemson to get off to a good start again this year as this offense is loaded once again. Clemson scored 30 or more points 10 times last year. The defense of Clemson will improve this year with it's new DC Venables who was DC at Oklahoma. I have Clemson winning 31-21.
