Analysis: I have wrestled with this all day. I cannot ignore the fact that Buchholz had a great outing in TB after being out for a month, and I cannot ignore the fact that Boston is 19-11 against LHS. I know that Quintana has been special at times, but in both his last two road starts against the Royals and Yankees, he was hit hard. I know that Ortiz is out and so is Youkilis for the White Sox. But, having the speed of Ellsbury and Crawford at the top of the lineup does matter. Saltamacchia always sits against LHP, and not a bad stick to come off the bench. The White Sox bullpen has been brutalized lately, so there's a clear advantage to Boston in that department. And because Quintana was killed, I am taking the over as well.
