First off, I came so close to making this a 3* BOMB as well
and if books were offering it up at -170 or better..that's exactly
what I'd have done..
Bottom line, historical probability reflects the Home Team is in
a very favorable spot to win Game 3 SU when down 2-0 in this
round..and when you couple that with the fact the Thunder have
played a lot better than the final score may indicate, the
perception surrounding the Spurs offers up even more value on
OKC..
Personally, I went ahead and laid -4 w/ OKC for better pay-out
on my exotics..but with my straight bet which is a significant
amount, I see no reason why I shouldn't lay the chalk when so
many of us are willing to do it in other sports.
With this being a Playoff game where "focus & motivation" is
not questionable..doing so makes even more sense.
