We're riding BOTH underdogs tonight... in similar pointspread ranges as well (Philly +4 to +4.5 / Lakers +4 to +4.5). It looks like the NUMBER FOUR has been pretty lucky for us lately. Dallas was +4 in our Monday outright dog win over the Nuggets. And Milwaukee was +4 in our Tuesday outright dog win over the Trailblazers.

But what both of these games ALSO have in common is the current rest situation. In both cases, the home team comes in with 1 day of rest... while the visitor played last night. And when these hosts won their last game by a BIG margin, they've been fantastic 'play AGAINSTS' in the 2011 / 2012 season.
6-26 ATS since Jan. 1st: All NBA home favorites in a '1/0' REST situation... and playing off a double-digit SU win in their last game (Philly / Dallas). We also note that these teams have gone 1-16 ATS when their opponent comes in off SU loss (which the LAKERS do). So this is one of the reasons that our late play is rated HIGHER than our early play.

But for now, let's look at that early play first. The HOT Knicks have looked GREAT since the coaching change.... with a 4-0 SU and ATS mark in their last 4 games.
18-5 ATS since Feb. 1st: All NBA underdogs playing off 4 or more ATS wins in a row (KNICKS). These teams have gone 14-2 ATS when playing off 5_ ATS wins (KNICKS)... and 9-1 ATS when priced as an underdog of + 3 > pts.

Philly laid a whopping -10,5 points on the road in their MOnday game versus Charlotte... and won convincingly (105-80).
2-14 ATS since 1998: All NBA home favs playing off a SU double-digit ATS road win in which they were laying -10 < pts (Philly). favorites of -4 > points in this situation have gone 1-9 ATS.

The 76ERS have gone 1-10 ATS as division home favs of < 9 points off a SU non-division win... vs any UNRESTED opponent (KNICKS).
