Hey why was this video removed?
Excellent information from a true wise guy. However people need to be careful with what they are doing or they can get themselves in trouble.
PGF and VR discussed varying bet size when you have more of an edge. This truly separates the professionals from everyone else.
1. Few people really understand what their true edge is.
2. Many recreational players do not have the available funds to bet 5 or 10 times more on one bet - they simple are at too much risk.
EX: Someone has a 10, 000 bankroll and lets say for an average bet they bet 2% of this per play which equals $200 per game. Now even if they truly know their edge - and bet 5 times their average bet, they are now making a $1,000 bet. This is 10% of all their available funds on one bet - not smart betting.
Great video on the insights of how pro outfits operate - most players are undercapitalized and do not know their true edge.
In my thread I do keep records with +/- units. A "unit" is 2% of bankroll and is recalculated on a weekly basis. Using this type of record gives a decent interpretation of ROI on a quarterly basis.
I can leave my ego at the door and say that I am still learning what "my edge is, or isn't"
Good stuff guys.
