HAYE vs KLITSCHKO...PREMIUM FIGHT PLAY (21-4) !!

Allright Fellas we have both Boxing & UFC 132 this coming weekend and I'm looking to get involved in both...

We're now 21-4 on Boxing & MMA Premium Plays and I've already confirmed a bet for the Heavyweight Title Fight...

I will look to do a video on this Premium Play where I'll decide whether to Upgrade it to a 3* BOMB...And also share any and all UFC 132 Premium Plays on video at http://vegasrunner.com later this week...

Below is the link to an article I turned in as the new Boxing Writer at Gaming Today...Best of Luck, VR

  • VR........  Thank you so much for your insight on the fight.  I wasnt going to bet it, simply because I didn't even know it was going down!  But it just goes to show that good info like the guys here at pregame is invaluable, as I pounded Klitschko, and my bookie didnt want to see me this morning!  Thanks brother for all that you do

  • My bad, 2 belts, I must have gotten ahead of myself.  He will have 3 belts after Saturday afternoon.

  • Klits is one of those all in moves I feel.  This is my biggest bet I am probably making on the year.  It is not like laying -200 on the Yanks.  Yanks will probably win 65% of the time while I feel Klits will win this one in the 92% range, maybe higher, he has already proven it.  The value is huge, thanks for pointing me towards this one VR.  Once I heard about this one, I started diving right in and reading the buzz.  I put a monster just on the fight and tied him into like 5 other parlays.  That is how much I love this one.  Hey VR, one question, why in the hell is this line only -200?  Just wondering why Vegas would really go that low on some who is 55-3 and holds 3 belts.

  • No such thing as chalk in a winner VR.  I have followed on most of your fights if I can get ahold of them in time.  Not worried about chalk when you are hitting at that enormous rate.  You would have to lose 4 -500 fighters to be down at your mark.  Those -500 fighters dont lose very often when you really can pick out the ones who you know will do what thier suppose to do.  I don't have a lot of money, but chalk doesn't scare me too much.  Love the Klits pick and price.  A legend at 55-3 who hasn't lost in 7 years at just -200!  Are you serious, thank you very much.  I have been reading around the net over the last few days in other boxing forums and for some reason, so many people are convinced Klits is going down.  I am sure he goes through this thing every time.  Go back on look at the records of fighters when they run into Klits and get knocked the *** out.  18 fighters had 1 loss or less ran into the buzz saw.  What is Haye at, 1 loss?  You should see how many 2 losses got their shit pushed in as well.  Haye is just another up and comer who will be humbled.  Been there, done that.

  • VR thanks for the response and the encouragement to stay with Mike Hook and Gabearizona. I guess I'm too old and been around too long to lay a lot of chalk. I'll keep an eye on your plays and hopefully everybody cashes regardless of who they follow.G/L with your picks.

  • Hi VR,

    >> Fair question brother and it shows how sharp you are...Truth be told, at 21-4 the vig on losses would have to be enormous for a bettor not to show a profit and that just hasn't been the case.. <<

You don't pay more vig for heavy faves, do you?  In other words, won't the vig be the same, no matter how much chalk you're laying (or which side you're playing)?  Or...no?

  • I would love to see Haye kick that Ruskies ass!  Seems confident enough to do it...I do not follow Heavtweight Boxing anymore, it has lost its luster in the heavyweight ranks but I do think this one is garnering some interest!

  • Fair question brother and it shows how sharp you are...Truth be told, at 21-4 the vig on losses would have to be enormous for a bettor not to show a profit and that just hasn't been the case...

In fact, 2 of those 4 losses were on +200 or bigger dogs and if I'm not mistaken, only 1 of the losses was on a -200 favorite...

So we've definitely been able to turn a profit betting fights and when it comes to boxing and mma, you will be asked to lay some chalk...

Personally, I have no problem doing so if I still think I'm getting the best of it...I look at it as a 30min investment where I have the edge, rather than focus on the money I have to lay to turn a profit...

I know that for some, it's not possible to lay a lot of chalk so I try to let them know when to use a parlay instead of a straight bet like I did when we tied up 4 bets on UFC 130...

To be honest, I've been conditioned to always start with the dog and make my way to the fav...But since getting the opportunity via Gaming Today to meet and network with guys who are really in the mix, I've learned that sometimes it's more or less predetermined who the winner is going to be and only an unprobable occurance will stop it from happening...

In those cases, I have no problem laying chalk and I now understand why those sharps they called the "suitcase bets" out here would come in before fights and lay obscene amounts of money on fights at some high prices...

This outfit would only bet fights and they'd zero in on some favs that more or less always got there unless the improbable lucky shot landed...But their win % was so high that they were able to do a lot of damage and got limited and went elsewhere...

I'm not trying to duplicate what they did, but I can see now why at times they were willing to do it...I'll always look to back dogs, like we did w/ Story at +200 who cashed and Morecraft at +250 who didn't recently...But at the end of the day, my only goal is to determine win probability and then compare the price to see if I'm getting the best of it or not...

    best of luck, VR

You can't go wrong following Hook or Gabearizona...so if you're making money, don't change a thing brother and keep following them to the winners circle.

  • VR If you don't mind me asking how many units to the plus side would that 21-4 equate to? I've noticed your record is great but when I look at betting  the ones I've seen you post your picks on they were all at -350 and above. Not saying that's all bad but wouldn't you have to have some deep pockets and large gonies to bet them. I've done extremely well following Mike Hook and Gabearizona free picks and have wanted to play some of yours but I guess I'm not willing to take the leap of faith when the odds are that large.

    TIA
