Allright Fellas...well alot of my Clients have been asking lately about how and why are labeling the NCAABB Wagers that I Upload...Some with "Steam"...some with "Late Steam"...and others, without it...
For starters, anyone who has been getting my NCAABB Wagers lately has noticed that we are getting even more respect on these plays than we did last year...A year where we Won Over "120" Units Wagering on NCAABB...Well I can tell you that it's not by accident and as we continue to grow, I promised that I would continue to uncover more and more sharp sources on info...
And for this NCAABB Season, we are finally dialed into some of the strongest NCAABB info anywhere...Which I am sure you noticed by the adjustments that the Books are forced to make on many of our wagers, especially on Totals...
You guys know by now that I had spent most of the early portion of my career in this industry, Both Booking and moving "Steam"...and because of that, I have been fortunate enough to have met and worked with some of the sharpest sports bettors of all time...And although I handicapp the boards on my own, I try to Confirm my opinions with others who I trust and know have been also beating the books for a very long time...
And because most of my training was based on what I learned while working with these "Outfits"...I tend to side with many of the same games and teams that they do as well...This is why I chose to lable certain wagers that I Upload into the System...
When I Upload a game without a Label...if there is anything that I feel you need to know, about how the market will react to this play...so that you know when and what number you should be looking to take a position on...There wagers are ones that I like, and if I know that the "Outfits" will also be getting down, I make sure to point that out in the form of an analysis...
The next thing you may have seen is the "Steam" Label....I write that after the Unit amount so that everyone who will be tailing me on it knows that this is definately a "Steam Wager"...and will be catching a lot of speed here very soon...So you need to try and get down asap, and no further instructions are needed...
Finally, the last Label on these NCAABB Wagers...is "Late Steam"...That is what I write for those wagers that are going to get "Steam" immediately, because we don't have much time before it Tips-Off...
Those "Late Steam" Wagers...more times than not come in after I already Finalized the "Heavy Hitters" Daily Package...and therefore ONLY go out to SUBSCRIBERS...
Anyone who has been with me over the last few weeks definately can see why I believe this is so important...Because although this is fun, and watching and betting sports is entertaining...it is still a "Market"...which means that it's strictly a Numbers Game and nothing more...So therefore, the biggest key to success is getting down at the right number...
Which is sometimes hard to do because many of our Wagers get the kind of respect that moves Point-Spreads sometimes 3 Pts....and Totals as much as 7 or 8 Pts...
Fortunately, I have worked with most of these "Outfits" for a long time and have the kind of relationship that allows me to get these type of wagers very early...So although sometimes you may have trouble getting that exact number...Truth is, if you have the amount of "Outs" that anyone taking this investment seriously should have...then you shouldn't have too much trouble the majority of the time...because I really get this stuff much earlier than you could ever imagine...
Because many times, I even Upload the Wager a 1/2 Pt or 1 Pt worse than what we are actually able to get because I know that it will move and I want you to know it's ok to take it up to a certain number...
Last year, it took me a few months to learn how to implement all of that information into a package for my clients here at Pregame....And as time went on everything moved smoother and smoother...And although as I explained in my Daily Forum Thread, that we now have access to the one group who almost single-handedly is the reason the books don't post NCAABB Totals until sometimes an hour or so before Tip-Off...I am currently seeing their tendencies and in no time, their info will be able to get implemented, just like all the others...
I really am excited about this NCAABB & NBA Season...and I believe that with a year under our belts, in sharing our info and work....that we are even more prepared to bring the type of info that is so rare and difficult to get a hold of, and use it in a manner that will help my guys profit most...
So far it's gone great...and if you saw what we did with our NCAA Totals over the L/week, you will agree that we not only seem to have an edge...But that the Bookmakers are telling you the exact same thing, by moving the points on our wagers like they've done...
The good thing is that as the NFL Season comes to a close...the Oddsmakers and Bookmakers will be forced, to whether they like it or not...Adjust their numbers for all of the "Rec Bettors" who will now be wagering on NCAABB...And that means they will be forced to adjust for "Public Perception" on many marquee games, that at this time....they can get away with not doing...So it should only get easier for us, and the numbers more beatable...
Just remember though, that this is a numbers game...and that is why I make it my priority to make sure that my clients are getting their money in when we are getting the best of it...Because my experience shows, that if you can just continue to repeat that action, over and over...eventually, your Bankroll will contiue to grow...And with the proper money management, you will find yourself so many units ahead...that you can now wager without stress...knowing that they pretty much have no shot at ever getting their money back...

Maybe you (Pregame) could look into e-mailing plays to people once cards are finalized. That way those of us with crackberries will be notified immediately so we can get down on the "steam" plays... It is definately something to consider....
Cowboysfan, this is something that Pregame has been trying to do, and I asked about this early last year. Nothing like sitting with your BOLD at the airport, without the email. On a side note, you have view this page easily by getting Opera as your browser.
A simple SMS note or an auto-email saying: you've a new play on your members page would suffice. For the amount of sales generated, the implementation of such features would be already paid for...
Guys, trust me...I am all over this and have been trying to figure out the best way we can all profit from this information...I mean, now that you've seen the respect my plays get I know that you understand just how important it is to get them to you quickly...So right now, that is my biggest priority because now that FB is coming to an end...we will have a lot of opportunity to profit in basketball...
Because if you remember last year when the season started, we were killing the Totals but after 2 months in...we began playing very few and that was because I couldn't close this group...And what I was doing was picking off their plays because I knew which books they were betting into, but even then I ended up getting the play after the move...
Now, we are getting it before the move...and even though that means that you will now be able to get a better number than last year...I still would like to improve delivery...
Don't worry, we are all here putting the pieces together and are constantly working on making everything run as smooth as possible...and I am constantly working with our sources to make it more convenient all around...
So sit back and watch the lines move a few points after so many of your wagers...because I think we all can agree that there is no better feeling as a sports bettor...than getting down on UNDER 128, and then having a cigarette and coming back to see it 122.5 all across the board...what a rush !!
