Stan Sharp took the time to discuss some of the Key Line Moves today.
LA Clippers @ New OrleansTotal Opened 191 now 195.5, 196
Stan notes this total opened at 191 at the Greek and Cris. Here in Vegas and offshore this game has been bet up to 195.5 and 196 as the sharp Wise Guy action has come in hard on the Over. Stan notes that the Clippers are avaraging just 88 points a game over their last 4 games so the fact that the Sharps have come in here and Bet the Over early shows that they love this game. Also note that New Orleans has scored 78 & 98 in their last 2 games. So if there was going to be action on this game the public would be taking the Under and with that said the Wise Guys didn't wait they bet the Over showing just how much they like Over. early season line moves tend to do better. be careful betting too much on a late number (much the worse of it).
Exactly, this number is WAY too high for me now. I think the wiseguys bet it right to the correct number. Tomorrow's lines are out already - what are we seeing?

wowow that line really came back down before tip closed at 192.5 in many spots
I've seen that happen several times this year...it's best to bet these sharp plays right before tip....let the public do their thing! BOL to everyone that bet this :-)
