CFB THURSDAY THROWDOWN WEEK 4

Welcome again to “Thursday Throwdown” right here at Pregame.com. The place where bettors get ready by accessing some of the sharpest information on the web. Last week I got off the hot seat by collecting on both CFB Freebies here in this Blog and that brought my season Thursday Numbers to 2-4 Overall after three Thursday Night Games. Tonight I look to build on that win with my in depth analysis of this marquee ACC-Big East throwdown.

For those of you not familiar with my work, I have been handicapping sports now for over 20 years.  I am a proven winning capper over the years documenting several years of top handicapping honors. Currently I am 4th overall (8-1, +4.9) at TSM of Oklahoma in the NFL, and I am looking to turn these college numbers around this week as they’ve been mixed going (7-8, -0.55) overall on all rated plays.

I have always given every single play to you here at no cost. You get winning information everyday that beats the books, Proven! If you aren’t following along here at this thread or my other threads it’s never to late to jump on-board for these “Throwdown Thursday” Night plays along with my NFL Monday Night Mania” plays that are sure to cap off your week with a winning edge in the “Big Game”.

Tonight the Hurricanes from Miami look to blow through Pittsburgh with their leading play caller Jacory Harris. However, the Panthers of Pitt have something to say about that and will have this defense up for the task as we get another supreme Thursday Night match-up. Pittsburgh already fell on hard times losing the first game of the season on the road on Thursday night to MWC powerhouse Utah in Overtime. Tonight they’ll get another out of conference test.

Miami (Fla) -vs- Pittsburgh (3.5 / 49.5): Miami goes on this road game looking to keep the turnovers down and pull out more total yards. They have faced one of the elite teams of the year and kept it within twelve. Will this Miami Defense be up for a similar task tonight against a Pitt team that was equally disappointed on the road verse Utah?

Jacory Harris tries to overcome a debut against the Buckeyes that was less than desirable. However, one of the themes that is taking note in College Football and that is experience at Quarterback. The position that needs more experience than all others is at QB. Pittsburgh will rely on the inexperienced play from Tino Sunseri tonight when they face off against the Hurricanes. Will Jacory Harris create enough of an edge to pull out this big road win?

The Canes had success through the air despite the four interceptions they surrendered to the Buckeye defense. Pittsburgh doesn’t seem to rely as much on the arm of their redshirt sophomore and get a slight advantage from me in the running game with seasoned playmaker Dion Lewis.

Looking into the math-up features of this game, Miami will need to establish a rushing attack against this stingy Pittsburgh defense that matches well up front so they won’t need to rely on the Arm of Harris to win one late. If they can establish a rushing game and keep Pittsburgh off the field I see a victory for Miami.

The oddsmakers opened the Canes as a 3-point road favorite with a total of 51. The line has moved in further favor of Miami and toward the Under with a current installment of 3.5 and 49.5.
Pittsburgh youthfullness may be too much to overcome against a Miami team that has been three years in the making.

The key for Pittsburgh to pull away a victory tonight will lie in the hands of signal caller Tino Sunseri, Miami has a defense that matches up well against this Pitt squad and I do expect the Panthers to get some yards on the ground. Miami is 10-1 straight-up in this series since 1992, and 4 of 5 have played to the Under. I am sticking with the Canes in this one and bucking the Under trend and playing it Over the line movement.

Weather Watch: Skies will be clear tonight with temperatures in the Low-70’s around kick off. The air will be thick with a humidity level 40%-50% and minimal chance for scattered showers throughout the game.

Prediction: Miami-Fla 28 - Pittsburgh 23
