If Dwight doesn't get the ball right at the front of the rim like beneboy said, he can't score. No post game at all. So in a way i understand why he doesn't get it. He was 5-10 from the field last night, but i wonder how many of those 5 were dunks with no move?
The matchup that was making me pull my hair out was Big Baby guarding Lewis. There is nothing he can do to stop Lewis
yes dwight is right, but why doesnt he go right to the front of the rim every time down the court instead of trying that tired ass p ewing imitation. how is it that p ewing at 6-8 or 6-9 never got that shot blocked but "always jerkin" perkins has been able to make him look terrible doing it?
Chad, you hit the nail right on the head with your last sentence about no leadership. We're supposed to buy into the Dwight Howard B.S. about him being a top 5 nba player but yet he has zero leadership skills. Howard is about as much of a leader as Dirk is lol. Kobe, Lebron, Dwade, CP3....all these guys are the clear cut leader on their team. Howard is not on their level IMO.
One of the Magic's biggest problems all season has been that they abandon the inside game in the closing minutes. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but just in the playoffs alone you calud look at their shot selection in the last 6 minutes of the games in which they lead and you will notice a trend of a lot of missed shots from +15ft and almost nothing in the paint. This team suffers from piss-poor coaching decisions by Van Gundy and that without Jameer Nelson this team has no leader on the floor.
