On the over. I'm playing the under
im also a huge fan of the under!!!!! how about the game??
Fellas...You have to remember that although the amount of profit the books make in each Super Bowl is dependent on who covers...the bottom line is that it's the volume which has allowed them to win 17 of 19...and not neccessarliy which Side or Total got the money...
I mean, obviously they will always prefer one side to another, or one total to another...but more times than not, it's all that VIG...and all those props, parlays, teasers, ect...that allows them to come out ahead regardless of which side gets the money...
So you alway have to be careful about worrying about the "public" side...Because it's one of those games that they really end up usually getting a good balance, because everyone has an opinion...And on Super Bowl Sunday, most people are willing to put some money behind that opinion...
In 2008...when the NYG beat the NEP...in Nevada there was $92 MIL wagered...and the books showed a loss of 2.8% or 2.5 Mil...
Then in 2005...when the NEP beat PHI...there was $90 MIL wagered...and the books showed a Win of +17.0%...or $15+ Million...
And even in 1999, when EVERYONE was betting the Broncos over the Falcons...the books took in $75 MIL...and ended up with a Win of +3.8%...or a little under 3 MIL...
So these guys are going to make their money more times than not, no matter the outcome...And usually, the only question remains...How Much They Make ??
Do your work, and go with your opinion...because it's just 1 game, and we all have an opinion on it...Best of Luck, VR
So you can see how it's all about t
