Las Vegas, Nevada (January 26, 2010) –

The Colts were initially set as 3.5 point favorites vs. the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV.

In heavy early action, over 70% of bets have been on the Colts (including an even higher percentage of the biggest bets). Indianapolis is now favored by 5.5 points!

RJ Bell of Pregame.com said: “Less than 1 in 10 NFL games are adjusted by two full points within the first day of action. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Colts are a touchdown favorite by Super Bowl Sunday."

    based on what I am seeing related to the Moneyline. The opening odds were:

    Saints +190

    Colts -230

    Yet as the betting spread has increased in favor of Indy, the moneyline a more representative number of the actual probability of winning % the odds have moved to:

    Saints +185

    Colts -215

    not much granted but still interesting still the same care to comment on this, or is the ML odds in line with the current betting spread?
