When you get that math right it can work pretty dam well.. Thing is usually what I would do is instead of risking nothing I would be fine with risking like 30 bucks on each losing outcome (for instance if im trying to win 100) and instead would buy points so for instance I actually hit it last week risking about 25-75 on Pitt ml and Jets +6 (which I bought up from 4).. I actually would have lost 27 if jets would of not covered but only 25 if pitt would have lost that is... I did hit it 2 years ago in the super bowl also on Pittsburgh Steelers ML and Arizona Cardinals Plus the Points which I bought up to 7.5 which was pretty dam crazy.. ended up risking 100 in that one and won around 300... Truthfully I have a big feeling winner of this one is gonna be by more then even 6 tho so I'm gonna have to choose a side on this one.. Funny thing is I already locked in a small bet on GB ml when the line came out and now to hear that that particular wager has the most value I may have to up the ante.. Thing is i ended up getting it for -145 and the other day i saw it down to -130 (now its at -135).. Just have left it alone but may take it soon.. You think I should wait it out as you said or take it? Wouldnt the ML go up no matter what if the spread hits 3 or 3.5?

I thoroughly enjoyed today's podcast with you and RJ.

I hope you had a nice weekend and while I still seem to be on a "bumpy road" with my selections this past week, I did end the fiscal week with my "Best Bet of the Week" barely getting to the wire first as the Steelers held on minus the 3 1/2. After listening to Marco last week, I did follow one of his theories and wagered myself, 25% on the Steelers on the moneyline and the other 75% of my investment on the straight line on the Steelers minus 3 1/2. I wasn't sure I understood his theory there, or the amounts he suggested when he decides to do that when playing a game. So, my few followers here on pregame.com were happy this week for the most part as I gave them several thoroughbred racehorse winners that paid handsomely, and of course I told them my position in the NFL games yesterday, was that I felt the Steelers were my best bet. I hope my percentages will start going up this week, in basketball, and I for some reason, have been a tad nervous when deciding what selections to post. I certainly can't post them all, but it seems I posted more losers and did not post winners I selected, but thats life. Again, great job today with the podcast, and I really enjoy you, but I must say, RJ has a way about himself that is just very informative and simply put he knows how to talk to the bettors and the handicapping community. Have a great week and I look forward to hearing you again soon. Sincerely, Harry Begg aka "The Southern Shark"
