There is no question in my mind that Big Brown is the Best race horse I've seen in quite some time. The way he ran off with the Preakness just 2 weeks removed from his Big Win in the Derby convinced me that he may well be our next Triple Crown Winner. At the end of the Preakness this horse acted like he didn't even break a sweat. His ears were moving back and forth as he was galloped out. This is a sign that a horse is happy and and still had something left in the tank. A horse thats tired and pushed to the edge would have their ears pinned back because they had enough, but not Big Brown he wanted more this is a game to him. Horse Racing should get their much needed Triple Crown Winner it would do the sport a world of good.
With that said the thought of Big Brown's trainer being the ambassador of racing really makes me sick. This guy has been acting like a complete idiot. Instead of enjoying the once in a lifetime run he's having he's talking trash. First he accuses Edgar Prado of trying to box Big Brown in during the Preakness. Hello Rick Dutrow Jr. have you never watched a horse race before. Jockey's always try to get the best position in a race and leave you in the worst position it's part of the game. There's nothing dirty about it. Does Edgar Prado have agenda maybe after all Big Brown was suppose to be his mount but the owners changed their mind when Prado was injured during Big Brown's 2 year old season. Wouldn't it be high drama if Prado was named to ride Casino Drive the only horse that any one believes has a shot to beat Big Brown.
Finally will you just shut up already! Rick Dutrow Jr. continues to talk trash about how Casino Drive has no shot of beating Big Brown. That's just bad karma as so many things can happen between now and the Belmont. Sickness,injury or lameness could end the dream. Have you ever seen a coach bad mouth their opponent before the big game. Never, instead they compliment them and say how they look forward to the challenge and may the best team win. So again Mr. Dutrow please just shut up. Praise Casino Drive entice the American public to watch what could be one of the best races of all time. Help build the hype with class after all this is the Sport of Kings not the WWF!
