Oden doesn't need surgery, 'as of now'
Greg Oden - C - POR - Feb. 20
While initial reports on Greg Oden's latest knee injury made it sound minor, Nate McMillan has not ruled out the fact that Oden, who is out for Friday and Sunday's games, may need more surgery.
"As of now, they didn't say anything as far as surgery being needed," McMillan said. That quote should not be taken lightly, and owners have to be prepared to be without Oden for the rest of the season in a worst-case scenario. Hopefully we'll have a full report and outlook by the end of Monday, when he's to be reevaluated. Joel Przybilla is probably worth grabbing again in many leagues.
