GoodFellas NBA Notes Friday, January 30th, 2009

Milwaukee @ Toronto

-Milwaukee beat Toronto 107-97 as 8.5 pt favs back on Jan. 5th in the only meeting between these teams this year-

-Milwaukee has dropped 2 straight games since all-star G Michael Redd went down with a season ending injury, as they are coming off a 8 pt loss AT Indiana on Wed. night-

-Toronto has won 3 straight games since the return of their starting PG Jose Calderon & Toronto is on a 4-1 ATS over their L/5 games-

-Milwaukee is just 1-5 ATS in their L/6 road games & they are also 2-4 ATS the L/6 games vs Toronto-

-The total has gone UNDER in all 5 of the L/5 games these teams have played AT Toronto-

Boston @ Detroit

-Boston has won both meetings between these teams this season, winning AT Detroit 88-76 in a pick em' game on Nov. 9th & AT Boston 98-80 as 6.5 pt favs on Nov. 20th-

-Boston is on a 9 game winning streak & they are playing their best ball of the season right now, as they are 7-2 ATS during the 9 game winning streak-

-Detroit is coming off a 98-89 win AT Minnesota on Wed. night & that broke a 2 game losing streak for them. Tonight is the 1st game of a 3 game homestand for them-

-Detroit is 1-7 ATS in their L/8 home games & they are just 1-5 SU the L/6 games vs Boston-

-The total has gone UNDER in 5 of the L/6 times these teams have played-

New Jersey @ Atlanta

-NJ is 3-0 vs Atlanta this season, winning AT NJ 115-108 as 4 pt home dogs on Nov. 14th, then AT Atlanta the next night 119-107 as 9.5 pt dogs. The last meeting was on Jan. 2nd & NJ won AT NJ 93-91 as 4 pt home dogs-

-Atlanta is currently on a 3 game losing streak coming into tonights game & they are 1-5 ATS in their L/6 games & they have triple revenge vs NJ going for them tonight as well-

-NJ has lost 7 of their L/8 games coming into tonights game, but they are 8-1 ATS the L/9 games between these two teams-

-NJ is a impressive 14-6 ATS on the road this season, & Atlanta is just 1-5 ATS in their L/6 home games-

Minnesota @ LA Lakers

-LA beat Minnesota AT LA 98-86 as 15 pt favs back on Dec. 14th, in these teams only meeting this season-

-LA coming off a double OT loss at home to Chatlotte in their last game on Tuesday night & that loss broke their 4 game winning streak-

-LA is playing its 1st game of a 6 game east coast road trip tonight & they will want to not only atone for the loss to Charlotte, but they will want to get this 1st game of the roadie badly tonight-

-Minnesota had a 3 game winning streak snapped with a loss in their last game, as they lost at home to Detroit 98-89-

-Minnesota is one of the hotter teams in the NBA right now, as they are 10-3 SU L/13 games & they are 11-3-1 ATS in their L/15 games-

-LA is 5-0 SU & 3-1-1 ATS the L/5 games vs Minnesota, but LA is also just 3-7 ATS in their L/10 road games-

-The total has gone OVER in 5 of the L/7 games between these two teams-

Oklahoma City @ Utah

-These teams have split 2 meetings this season, with Utah winning AT Utah 104-97 as 12.5 pt favs on Nov. 7th & Oklahoma City winning AT Ok City 114-93 as 5.5 pt home dogs on Jan. 14th-

-Utah has lost 4 straight games & are just 1-4 ATS in their L/5 home games & now have lost Kierlinko to injury, & now are without Kierlinko & Carlos Boozer-

-Utah plays division rival Portland AT Portland tomorrow night & normally I would say this game vs Oklahoma City would be a look ahead spot for Utah, but the fact that Oklahoma City embarrassed them the last time these teams met 2 weeks ago (21 pt blowout win by Ok City), I dont think that will be the case tonight-

-Oklahoma City is 8-2 ATS in their L/10 games & they are 11-3 ATS their L/14 games on the road-

Charlotte @ Denver

-Denver beat Charlotte 88-80 AT Charlotte as 2.5 pt favs back on Nov. 11th-

-Denver is playing its 3rd game in 4 nights & they are coming off a 94-81 loss AT New Orleans on Wed. night-

-Denver has been playing great ball without Carmelo, as they are 10-4 SU their L/14 games & 6-3 ATS in their L/9 home games, & they might be getting Melo back for tonights game-

--Charlotte lost starter Gerald Wallace 2 games ago, as he is out with ribs/lung injury-

-Charlotte is playing its 3rd game in 4 nights & also playing their 4th game of their brutal 5 game west coast road trip tonight (which includes a double overtime game 3 days ago)-

-Charlotte is on great ATS runs of 8-1 ATS L/9 games & 4-1 ATS in their L/5 road games, but I think this is a terrible spot for them tonight-

Chicago @ Sacramento

-Chicago beat Sacramento AT Chicago 99-94 as 8.5 pt favs back on Jan. 6th-

-Chicago broke their 5 game losing streak in their last game, as they won AT the Clippers by 20 pts on Wed. night. Chicago is also playing its 3rd game of their 6 game west coast road trip tonight-

-Sacramento is playing its 3rd game in 4 nights & they are currently on a 7 game losing streak-

-Sacramento is back home tonight, after a brutal 5 day 4 game, east coast road trip, & the 1st game back home after a grueling road trip across the other side of the country, can be a very difficult spot for teams-

-Chicago is 4-2 ATS in their L/6 road games & Sacramento  is just 1-7 ATS in their L/8 home games-

-Chicago is 9-10 SU & 10-9 ATS vs the Western Conference this season-

-Sacramento is 0-20 SU & 5-15 ATS vs the Eastern Conference this season-
