Great to see Brett Favre get selected for his work this year with the Jets. Any major omissions left off either team??

  • I think Matt Cassel should have made it over Favre personally.

  • That is very true Matty. I think Favre being Favre is what got him the spot over Cassel. But you have a good argument for Cassel for sure.

  • How does Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson not make it?  He leads the league in tackles with 136...the next closest guy has 122.

  • It's the voting - it's always been controversial because the players have a big role.  They probably don't know him.

  • sooooooooo what has clinton portis done in the second half of the season that makes him worthy of going to the pro bowl? I can think of a few other running backs that have had better seasons.

  • Chums- who would you choose over Portis?

  • Matty- LOL, "the players probably dont know him".......that is hillarious....but prolly true.

  • Only reason I know of Jackson is cuz he played high school ball around here.

And I'd take De'Angelo Williams over Portis.  Williams has 100 less yards but twice as many TDs (14 to 7) as Portis

  • No way Romo should have been left off. I don't care if he missed 3 games or not.

  • Great call on D'Angelo Chad, absolutely agree with that 100%.

  • Stew- Tell me who Tony Choke Job Romo deserves to make it over out of the 3 NFC QB's please?.............

  • Was a little surprised Greg Jennings was left off.

  • If you throw out team records and just look at individual performance, than there's no doubt that Romo should be in over Manning.  Even with the games Romo missed, he still has more yards and TDs than Manning.  Romo also leads the NFC in passer rating.  Stew has a decent argument here, IMO

  • Chad- its worth a debate for sure, but......I dont like Romo, like Matty doesnt like Favre.......so I am a bit biased regarding him......I will admit that........What about Big Ben not being on the AFC squad.....???  his team is 11-3..........

  • Yeah, the Steelers are 11-3 but  Big Ben is mediocre this year (much of which is due to that atrocious O-line - 41 sacks - ouch), and his numbers (15 tds, 12 ints) don't even warrant consideration to the Pro Bowl.  Even if one of the top 3 decide not to play or can't play, there are more deserving AFC qbs that Roethlisberger, like Phillip Rivers (who I might add, also got hosed)  Hell, even Matt Cassel and Chad Pennington warrant a place above Big Ben, IMO
