Didn't quite get to 300, though that's partially my fault -- not feeling great and wasn't that active in here tonight.
TREmENDOUS question, and one that will definitely get addressed late this week -- we'll talk about capping going INTO the break early in the week.
great suggestion so4... would love to know how Dan prepares for the last half of the season when motivation on losing teams becomes even more inconsistent and when the top dogs (like spurs) start taking games off to rest stars. Do you anticipate more totals to combat that? Great question for the podcast
Danno, sorry to hear your w/e was bad. I had a podcast idea, to talk about how you handicap the nba coming out of the all star break. What do you look for and what do you do differently from the daily grind.
One word revenge!
Notes from my post from last night:
Portland usually struggle on the road, Detroit playing some better ball the past few games, this game is a big revenge spot for the pistons, where they got smashed by portland 20+ points earlier in the season. I think this is a good spot to take the pistons to enact their revenge.

Hope we don't ALL get caught with our pants down!
Hello, CalBear. I did not get caught with my pants down. If we would only read and understand. Truly get in Cal Bear's head you would learn many things about him and capping. I enjoy your write ups on capping and life. Egyptian Life and the state of Egypt and its problems
No worries Dan... let's get em' this week. All-star break is coming.
Well, that weekend SUCKED.
I would kindly request we never speak of it again.
These refs are missing a lot of calls on Boston fouls. LBJ and Wade have gotten mugged a few times and got nothing. Very frustrating!
The 4th quarter is HEATing up.... come on boys!
So4: Why pistons if you don't mind me asking? I made a play on POR myself but would love to hear what you liked about the DET.
need a circa NBA JAM "he's on fire" from one of the big 2 in MIAMI, not looking good though.
I can honestly say I did not foresee a 35-18 quarter in this game...pretty crummy weekend...blech
durant went over on his ankle last night, so who knows. I would wait and see before I bet on that game. with that termoil that leaves me with one play on the good old pistons!
