NEW BLOG NEW BLOG NEW BLOG!!!!!
stay away from line that move 2 to 3 points.wrong i.m.o.Follow and win at 70% or so. just love to know how the sharps knew, figure that out and become sharp yourself.Inside info, had to be.from whom, players, coaches, beat reporters, referees or maybe all the above.Sometimes those big line moves lose, but not very often it appears
Damn I love Odom....absolutely ridiculous if that man isn't voted as an all-star this year!
Well, I might say Vegas lost money, considering the line move...you have to think a greater sum of money came in on Jersey to drive the line down. My guess is that Vegas actually balanced the books...
so clearly the Sharps made money...but I wish there was a way to find out the money Vegas still makes on that game?? 92% on ML over 70% taking the pts and doesn't even factor Teasers, Parlays....
Yep...think my brother told me they just started construction on a new hotel as soon as Jersey wrapped up that W. Pathetic by Memphis....
had to be something. I cant believe I actually played that game.
P.S. How about the killing the sharps made on Jersey tonight. I stand by my note that Memphis probably had a team-wide case of a cold (or maybe poison oak) that went undocumented...
Nice little run Dan-O! Had Dallas as well, but it almost doesn't even feel good knowing that I backed Philly as well....I mean pretty much ruins any win with that performance haha....oh well, one game and on to the next one! Just need our Lakers to get a solid W tonight! (as a fan, not as a backer)
Aaaaaaanyway, 4 straight top play winners (0-1 on free plays, unfortunately), and feelin' good.
Gonna have a nice dinner, then get tomorrow's blog up, so I guess that's about the 1 hour warning for poppers
Exactly, Shane. I tried my darnedest to find a reason to back Orlando, but the Mavs catching points just seemed too easy. It's the kind of play that should be either a Game of the Century or a pass...so I just went with a standard 2*, hahaha
take it when its there even against your better judgement. looking at the mavs game I handicapped it hard against the mavs and there stil was an edge. I had to take it.
4 straight winning days! Warming back up!
Congrats to the entire Pregame forum for this one, too...public (including me) got this one right.
It raises the point that the public generally hits a solid 48 to 50% of bets, depending on the number, so we shouldn't write off public sides just because.
Though, I still loathe short road favorites in bad situational spots.
In any case, I admit, I was a little nervous heading into this one, given the large public splits, and Orlando played much better today than they did yesterday, but the Mavs win AGAIN on the road, and we'll take it!
Thanks Dan. Grizz down 10 early. Glad I stayed off. Have a great night.
I hate to say it, since I'm on Dallas, but I'd look at Orlando in the 2nd half...they're waking up...
