Dan - Nice job today. Big thanks on the podcasts this week just wouldn't be the same without starting the day with "Good morning or good afternoon depending on where you are" haha. Just finished capping tomorrow's card - feels like a dog day.
Early leans - Wizards on revenge and Bucks looking ahead to Cavs and a 8straight ATS streak. Bobcats on revenge should keep it close against a B2B Lakers looking ahead to the Magic. The half-team Warriors spread the minutes in the last game blow-out going to Atl looking ahead a contest against a starting to roll Heat. Finally it seems like a B2B Spurs team are getting a ton of points against a double-revenge Hornets who can get into their work with 2 days off ahead. Warwick.
Congrats Dan! I was also with Utah last night.. I know that you've been telling us about proper money management but last night I was so sure that Utah would win so I bet like 30 units because I was down 22 units for this week.. I know I shouldn't have done that and I won't do it again.. Goodluck guys!
Does the team coming out from a blowout loss angle work on OKC? okc is coming from a blowout loss of 29 from denver last wed.
Dan - As long as we can take an objective look w/o resorting to the woulda - coulda - shoulda mentality, I believe it can valuable to review last night's results. Obviously, my emphasis will be on the schedule play aspects of the games - rarely on a 3 game schedule will you get 2 "O2" teams against 2 "7T" teams, one of which was a "34" and one of which was a "45"
Memphis "7T", "34" @ Bulls "O2": Chi-Town up 17 with 3:40 left in the 2nd qtr, could not maintain the momentum despite Mephis' schedule fatique - a very good game for Memphis and a very negative indicator for Chi-Town's immediate future
Utah "O2" @ Phoenix "7T", "45": Phoenix hangs tough the whole game, actually leading all of the way by 8, 9, 10, or 11 and nearly sending me to rehab; The FATIQUE kicks in for Phoenix wirth about 4 minutes left and Utah ROLLS home, just like schedule plays are supposed to - not a negative or positive game for either team
PS I gained a Huge degree of respect for Miami last night and shoulda listened to you - my concerns about an Under play, expressed yesterday, were somewhat validated, as they went Over by 9 before OT
Keep up the Good Work - Jeff
Looks like a good day to pinpoint some totals. Tough board w/ the numbers. Let things shake out. Hornets #'s look decent early - but spurs liable to go rub-a-dub-dub too. Keep the fire burning Dan - you bees hot!!
Me love me my Thunder!!! They are coming off a game where they lost by more points than those of all other losses since January 1 *combined*!!! Demoralized? I assure you Brooks has these guys focused on one little detail --

We own the Clippers tonight!
Morning Warwick!
Glad you're enjoying the shows!!
Spurs aren't really back-to-back, but they are playing the same team twice. I have to lean Hornets. I wouldn't make too much of the Warriors getting blown out -- they don't actually HAVE any reserves, so it's not like they can "rest" their main guys...
Thanks Anjorlino!
I'm not sure how you got down 22 units this week, but that bet was a good way for you to nearly bankrupt yourself. NEVER, EVER do that again -- you don't want to end the game in one night?!?!
Paul, I'd say yes except the Clippers got blown out at home too - so both teams are coming off embarrassing losses...
Jeff -
Indeed, it's ALWAYS a good idea to look back at the previous day and see what we learned, and it's true, Memphis is just ROLLING on the road, despite the apparent scheduling fatigue issues. I had a weird feeling they'd get it done, as Chicago is banged up, and they need to get healthy to play their normal level of tenacious defense for all 48 minutes.
Haha, Razor, you may be right!
A ton of double-digit spread games, but I have my eye on a couple of match-ups that aren't quite as lopsided. That Hornets/Spurs rematch could be interesting, too, as you noted.
I'm not sure the totals tell me a great deal, as the few games where we're getting a rematch, the total is right where it should be, haha!
Mark -
That's probably true, although remember, they beat the Clippers in LA about a week before that home loss, so it was actually a Clippers revenge game that led to that outcome.
I think both teams play a sluggish game tonight, that's just my take on it, and I'd be careful before unloading the mortgage on OKC. There's just something odd about that game, and I can't figure out what it is...
Dan You erased a question I had for Mike Hook yesterday about his GOY as I was traveling and didnt get to read his response. Do you always buffer legit questions with merit to save your buddy?
