Daily Message:
Last night we went 5-6 on our plays for an accumulated loss of -4.90un
(or -1.70 units using a 1-2-3un MM)… obviously I’m not happy with that.
Here are some considerations about yesterday’s card:
The
Bulls looked lethargic on the defensive end which was uncharacteristic.
They allowed the Nets to shot 49.4% from the field and 50 points in the
paint. Later I’ve found out that the Bulls charter had mechanical
issues, took off and circled back to land in Chicago. Got to New Jersey
around 4 AM EST, maybe their lack of energy was due to that “issue”.
The
Timberwolves mental miscues’ down the stretch were noticed once again.
Despite trailing by as many as 16 points, the Wolves rallied back and
were winning by 8 points with 3 minutes left on the regulation just to
lose the game in OT. In my detailed write up I’ve said that both Beasley
and Love would have big games and indeed they had: 63 points, 27
rebounds and 7 assists! Losing to a depleted Bobcats’ team was pathetic.
I
had a top play with the Wizards and I was really expecting them to be
ultra competitive last night. The 76ers were in a bad spot of their
first home game after a long road trip while the Wizards had 3 days off
to rest. Plus the Wizards were finally healthy and had all their players
available for the game. With 6 minutes to go, the score was 86-85 to
the 76ers…after that the 76ers didn’t miss a single field goal.
We are now +45.35 units for the season (using a 1-2-3 units MM: +14.15un) and for this month we are already on the profit zone.
For
today, we have only two TNT games to work. I don’t know if we will have
the proper edge to make a play, I’m working on the card right now…
NOTE: I’ve made an update on my past records (2006-07) and now they are available on a 1-2-3un* MM system.
Injury report: J.R. Smith is questionable; Ty Lawson is probable; Dirk Nowitzki is doubtful.
