Daily Message:
A bad read on the OKC/SA game was
enough for us to had a losing day as we went 0-2 in that particular
contest. I was stunned about the huge egg laid by the young Thunder
team. I was expecting the Spurs to pick up the pace and attack the bad
interior OKC defense and indeed they did by scoring 60 points in the
paint & 24 fast break points. However Westbrook, Durant and Green
combined to shot 12-35 from the field and the Thunder were humiliated by
the Spurs.
For today we have two early games (IND/NYK & ATL/LAC) and 5
night contests. Any potential play for those 2 early games will be my
free plays for today. I’ve already released one Big Play for tonight – Double Dime Play. Next update to come soon…thanks

ALERT: for some reason when I have an Over Play with the Knicks playing
at home something unusual happens in the final quarter. I remember that I
had the Over 205.5 against the Bulls in the Christmas and we were
ruined by an 18-12 4th quarter score, or a 22-20 4th quarter score
against the Thunder or a 15-26 4th quarter outcome against the 76ers. In
all these games we should have won those plays but at the end we felt
short.
Having saying this, I believe that we have some value
with the Over and so I’m not going to look to the past, the present is
now…
The Knicks are winless in the last 2 games and coming for
this contest they have faced three great defensive teams in the last 3
contests: Orlando, Miami and Chicago. Even though Amare Stoudemire got
involved in foul trouble in almost every game, the Knicks were able to
put some points in the scoreboard despite facing top notched interior
defensive teams.
For today their game plan will be the same as
always since Amare is the center of this team: Pick up the pace and play
an inside-out game with Amare and multiple perimeter shooters. So the
big question for us is to know how the Pacers will approach this
contest….
The Pacers are coming from a solid home win against the
Wizards. They have felt tremendous problems to be effective on the
offensive but when this team has faced run and gun teams they like to
play in a faster pace as well. Against the Wizards they scored 21 fast
break points & 58 points in the paint which is a good receipt for
today’s game as once again the Knicks will be hammered down low due to
their inferior size.
In my research I’ve found that Pacers’ head
coach Jim O’Brien may look to have Danny Granger at the four with a
combination of Brandon Rush, Paul George, and Mike Dunleavy playing the
wings so the Pacers will adapt and they will play the majority of the
time with a pure small lineup like the Knicks is playing right now. For
us, this represents a faster pace and worst interior defense from the
Pacers. This combination gave me a projected line of 214 points so I’m
taking the Over in here.
