This is going to be the second game between these two teams in the season so we can analyze what happened in the first game and predict what could happen today. Curiously the totals line is exactly the same in both contests - 151 points and with the first game ending with 148 points the tricky question in here is: can both teams play better offense today?

In the first game we cannot forget that it was the second game of the season for both teams and more important than that it was a back to back game for both! To make things even worst the Mystics played on the road in the previous night and the Dream had a double overtime game against Indiana - 50 minutes of basketball! In fact, the three Dream' players that played most time vs. Indiana (Holdsclaw 46min, DeSouza 44min and Teasley 41min) enjoyed terrible games against Washington: Holdsclaw ended with -14 plus/minus points, DeSouza -17 and Teasley with -13 points.

The Dream committed a season high 25 turnovers and the Mystics 18 turnovers in a game between two tired teams. Also the Mystics scored only 8 points in the first quarter and the Dream scored 8 points in the second quarter?.still the game ended with 148 points! I already said that Washington loves to push up the pace and score in fast transitions (they had 17 points coming from fast break opportunities) and the Dream can keep the pace against them. I tracked the pace of all the Mystics and Dream' games so far in the season and that particular game was the highest paced game for both teams in the season. Saying that I expect both teams to score near the 80' points mark as my real line for this contest is 155/156 points. Take the Over in here.
