Hi guys. I'm coming from a great day yesterday nailing the Astros, Marlins (with Alternative RL @ +180) and my Double Dime Play on the Dodgers RL.For today I have 4 plays including a Double Dime Play. The NBA Playoffs are coming and I'm working on the card...
LA ANGELS (4 - 5) at MINNESOTA (4 - 7)
Friday, 4/17/2009 8:10 PMDUSTIN MOSELEY (R) vs. NICK BLACKBURN (R)
I
like the Twins to roll tonight against the Angels. In fact there are
several factors that turn the Twins a valuable bet that I can't pass.
First of all this isn't a great spot for the Angels. Probably you
haven't noticed that the Angels played all their games until today in
the West coast: series at home vs A's and Red Sox and @ Seattle last
series so this game is a real bad spot for them because for the first
time of the season they have a real trip to do. Saying that they aren't
the same Angels' team from last season! Facing the Mariners in their
last series the Angels couldn't reach .300 BA in a single game and
actually last night they won 5-1 but all 5 runs come in a lonely
inning: the 6th. Note also that DH Vladimir Guerrero is out for tonight
so I expect the Angels to keep struggling offensively.
Tonight they send to the mound Dustin Moseley that made quality
games in the first 2 starts of the season vs. A's and vs. Red Sox. Both
games were at home so let's see if he can repeat such good games on the
road. Meanwhile the Twins are coming from 2 flat performances in the
last 2 games. Last night the Blue Jays pounded Francisco Liriano and
Roy Halladay showed why he is already 3-0 in this season. Naturally I
don't expect Moseley to bring the same stuff as Halladay so we can
expect some quality from the Twins' batters. Nick Blackburn is coming
from a loss in his last start @ CWS but I don't rate that outing as an
awful performance. Blackburn made only one real mistake in 6 innings of
work: a Jim Thome home run. Today Blackburn returns home where he has
good numbers, last season he had 2.96 ERA and .268 BA allowed (much
better numbers then on the road) and I expect him to bounce back facing
a struggling Angels' lineup. Take the Twins in here.
