My surprise team will be the RAIDERS.  Upgraded the defense and offense.  Also I see the FALCONS making some noise since they had a injured riddled season last year.

I think the Packers will miss the playoffs as I have the bears winning the division and Lions coming in second.  Sorry sleepy.

Nice Steve, still doing work but about a month ago I checked off thier future, looks sneaky. I didn't make the play however as I still feel they are the Raiders.

For instance look at the niners, talent on the team all those years but Nolan. Singletary couldn't get it done. Then Harbaugh does the rest. He flipped the switch in a season, I just don't think OAK has that talent to flip the switch. Tough outs with Denver and SD are what's stopping me, even a 10 game win season doesn't get you in. Maybe a total bet too?

Seattle. Super Bowl hangover in a tougher division (AZ and STL better) with SF geared ONLY to beating the Seahawks. Stayed injury free last year, for the most part. Some softer divisions have the chance to beat them out for the Wild Card. Could not be more over valued, IMO.

Of any big win we have had, or winning streak, or even coming out of a losing streak, of this I am most proud:

Some forum posters have broken into the industry and have achieved moderate success while carrying themselves with professionalism and integrity. Dave Essler, of the pick-selling site Pregame, immediately comes to mind.

I still want to know if all these people on Twitter and Pick-Selling sites claim to have beaten up books for years, I would think there would be no places left to place wagers.

Buffalo Bills - quarterback will have a breakout year with a stable of VERY talented receivers and a beefed up OL.  Defense stays tough even though a key LB went down during training.

UCLA's Brett Hundley for 2014 Heisman Trophy.

IMO, the New Orleans Saints are my surprise team to make the playoffs this season. Defensive coordinator has a year under his belt, and I look for the Saints' defense, while certainly not going to lead their division in any particular category, will be improved based at least on knowing and being at least more familiar with what they will be trying to accomplish. They will be improved on defense.

Brees is not getting any younger and the offense while losing a couple of players that some think can't be replaced, I think just the opposite. They kept what they needed on offense and their new additions coupled with sound running backs, should give Brees the two dimensional attack they had the year they made it to the Super Bowl.

Seahawks are my choice to go backward. I can't see any remarkable changes forthcoming and I really don't think they feel they need to change anything. Of course I am not a fan of their Head Coach, who spends lots of time on "staying friends" with his players, and I simply do not think he will ever win a Super Bowl, no matter what team he coached. If history has proven one thing in my book, its that great college coaches, for whatever reason, simply do not win (Super Bowls in the NFL). Sorry Pete, USC could have been a lifetime job!

Philadelphia Eagles, 2nd year under Chip Kelly will be faster and more efficient offense.  Improve defense will be the key to Eagles success in the playoff.

Agree on Seattle. I think Cincy, Indy, KC and San Diego will struggle more this year.
