Each week, an elite group of bookmakers and professional bettors provide Pregame.com with their private power rankings. These numbers literally influence the worldwide sports betting market and together form the Vegas Rankings. Four categories convey what the “experts in the desert” truthfully think about the teams:TRUE POWER: How good Vegas thinks a team really is.
HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE: The value of each team’s home field.
BETTOR BIAS: How many points the public overvalues (positive numbers) or undervalues (negative numbers) a team.
POINT-SPREAD POWER: The combination of True Power and Bettor Bias.
To calculate the projected winner of any matchup:Take True Power (home team), ADD Home-Field Advantage and SUBTRACT True Power (away team). To calculate the projected point spread of any matchup:Replace the True Power with Point-Spread Power, which includes Bettor Bias, the same way the actual Vegas line does.
NFL Vegas Rankings – Week 7
Vegas Rankings voters include Steve Fezzik (the only 2-time Hilton Contest Champion), Chris Andrews (with over 30 years of Nevada bookmaking experience), and “Vegas Runner” (featured by ESPN, CBS This Morning, and CNBC for his professional betting success).

SF ahead of NYG? Hmmm
I have been with you guys since the Johnny Detroit days. I play a pick em pool (all nfl & 15 best ncaa games) with 15 buddies @ $100 a week. These rankings are the best capping tool, for my situation, I've ever seen. Thank you for your work! Love Pregame!
If I am correctly figuring out the spread based on teh formula above would I be corect to say in the DAL vs CAR game taht CAR should b -1?
It should be Car+1 according to the formula and their rankings here
I guess I am not understanding whats the difference between the formula that shows who will win and the actual point spread one? So if i calculate the Pats for example, it shows +12 for the Pats for the Winner formula and the same for the line formula. What is this telling me? How do you interpret the result?
92+2-95 = -1 so where are you getting +1?
Not even sure what the -1 means?
