Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhut rarely does anything to win in the Preseason, and definitely not in the first game.  The prime directive is always "Go through the motions and don't get hurt."

New Orleans has a new coach who may want to show the fans what he can do.  In addition, the Saints have a big QB advantage in the second half with Luke MCown vs. rank rookie out of San Diego State, Ryan Lndley, going for the Cards together with Richard Bartel.

Besides, the smart money is really on the Saints (read the blog article)  Take the Saints -3 for your first Preseason winner.
