Just doesn't seem right to me to try selling a package today on this, the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. So here are my premium NFL plays for today.
2 UNITS
#464 RAMS +4
The Eagles signed a bunch of big names during free agency, and thus have been dubbed "The Dream Team" by many. While they did improve their D-line and secondary, this Philly team still has a couple weaknesses that I think these Rams can exploit.
First, the Eagles offensive line has undergone some changes and they will be playing their first game together today. The Rams defense was a much improved unit last season and I expect them to take another step forward this season. I expect the Rams D-line and linebackers to cause some problems for this Philly O-line that needs some time together before they'll function as an effective, cohesive unit.
Secondly, the Eagles defense is weak at the linebacker positions. A powerful runner like Stephen Jackson has the potential to cause a lot of problems for this Eagles D. I also expect QB Sam Bradford to exploit that weakness, as his receiving corps got some nice upgrades since last season. It also appears to me that Rams offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels should be able to outsmart new Eagles defensive coordinator Juan Castillo.
Bottom line: Looks to me like this line is a bit inflated, as their free agent frenzy has made the Eagles a huge public team. But these Rams have the right kind of team to take advantage of Philly's glaring weaknesses. I will not be surprised to see the Rams win this game outright. I'm putting my money on the RAMS.
UNDER 38 Seattle at 49ers (Game #473/474)
Let's see. We have Tarvaris Jackson and Alex Smith under center in this game. Neither team's offensive line is very good. Both teams figure to lean on the running game (Marshawn Lynch & Frank Gore should be busy), and both teams play good enough defense to limit subpar offenses (like these two). Looks like the recipe for a 16-13 or 17-16 type game. The UNDER 38 is the play for me.
Take some time today to remember all the lives that were lost on that horrible day 10 years ago. Thousands of lives lost and thousands more damaged. My prayers go out to the lives lost and every person who lost a loved one that day. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. GOD BLESS AMERICA.

U ARE A CLASS ACT DWAYNE FROM A DOB !!!!!!!!!!!!! G L THIS SEASON !
Thanks GF, Greg & LGJR1.
Rams play got away from me. Steven Jackson was on his way to a big game, which I was counting on. I knew it was a loss when he left after only two carries. That guy just can't stay healthy. Losing Danny Amendola & then Sam Bradford certainly didn't help either, but that's part of the game.
Now I just have to hope there aren't any cheap TDs in the second half of this Seattle-49ers game. Under looked great until that 49ers TD in the closing seconds of the first half. Now I'm holding my breath.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.
We lost both of these DB but I felt I was on the right side...keep em coming.
Nothing makes me feel worse than when I think I'm doing something good, only to have it blow up in my face.
I don't believe in "bad beats." Injuries, and turnovers sometimes, are hard to predict. And kick/punt return TDs are part of the game. So I do not believe I was on the right side of either game. To me, they were two bad calls on my part. I hate that anyone may have followed along. I owe this forum some winners, for sure.
