Cowboys 6/1 (as backup)  When he was healthy last time, he was playing well. He completed  70 percent of his passes, threw for 34 touchdowns, and just nine picks in 2014  Romo is set to earn a base salary of $14 million next season. If the Cowboys decide to trade or release him, his contract will still count for $19.6 million against the cap. If  cut  by June 1, they could split the hit, with $10.7 million going against the 2017 cap and $8.9 million in 2018

Tony Romo get gas left in the tank. I'll be betting the team he will be on.

Broncos with Romo – what a team! My SB winner.

Texans with Romo – me like to. D will improve.

Bears with Romo – could be a contender if D continues to improve. I like 7-1. Disclaimer: I'm not updated on any teams cap situation.

Cowboys at 6-1 is probably the best bet.

Chiefs – no.The Walrus likes Smith

49ers – no. rebuild mode several years away.

Bills – why not, they are stupid enough spending without a contending team.

He will go to a contender so you can automatically eliminate the Bears, 49ers, Bills, etc.

Broncos makes the most sense. And if he goes there, Den is your SB champion.

And I firmly believe Cowboys would have beaten GB and possibly NE in the SB if Romo was in and not Dak.

Houston or Denver. Zero chance for those other teams. Very small chance he stays with Dallas IMO.

Lol when you are the backup you always get endless praises for some reason. Is this the same Tony Romo that has won how many playoff games in his career? Only in Dallas can we elevate a dude to such a huge trade chip. I wouldn't give up more than a 4th rounder for the guy and would almost just as well wait and try to pick up in FA. Let the Cowboys sink $17 mill into a backup QB. It's not happening folks
