Best of luck today!! Let's roll.....
PITTSBURGH STEELERS (+6) AND
UNDER 50 PITTSBURGH STEELERS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
New England has pretty much dominated this rivalry since the 2005 season, winning 3 straight against their AFC rival and posting a 7-2 ML and 6-3 ATS record in the L9 meetings in that span. But this seems like too high of a number for these two offenses going against each other, especially when the offensive edge might slightly go to the Steelers here with Big Ben, Bell and Brown. The Patriots have posted a 3-1 ML record in the L4 meetings held in New England, although the Steelers have managed a 2-2 ATS split. Pittsburgh comes into today's AFC showdown having very quietly put together 9 consecutive wins, while also managing a 7-1-1 ATS record in those games. The Steelers were only listed as an underdog on two occasions this season, last week against KC, in which they obviously won, and in their October showdown against the Patriots, a game they were routed, 27-16, as the +7.5 underdog. They started out a little rough on the road in 2016, but they have since regained themselves, posting a 5-0 ML and ATS record in their L5 games away from home. New England has also won 8 in a row headed into this one and definitely has the slight edge on winning this one outright, primarily due to an edge in HC and QB, which should be enough for the Patriots to get the job done at home. Tom Brady has been money in his 9 regular season starts against the Steelers in his career, winning 7 of those games, and has thrown 24 TD and 3 INT in those 9 games against this storied defense. Pittsburgh has never beaten Brady on his own home turf, having played him 4 times during the regular season in his career. Brady is 4-0 ML and ATS in those games, while he has thrown for nearly 1400 yards and has thrown 19 TD and 0 INT in those games. That's right -- 9 TD and 0 INT!! Three of those 4 games have seen him toss 4 TD alone. This one might not even be that close when all is said and done. He has been a little bit more modest in his stats when playing against the Steelers in the playoffs, although he is also 2-0 in those meetings with 2 TD and 0 INT. Both meetings were played in Pittsburgh though, so this will be his first home playoff meeting against the franchise. On the flip side, Big Ben is 1-3 ML and ATS when playing at New England in his career, but closer look suggests it isn't really his fault it would appear. Ben has thrown for 751 yards in the last 2 meetings there, both losses, with 5 TD and 3 INT. Career-wise, he has 8 TD and 4 INT there in the 4 games with just over 1000+ yards passing. Surprisingly, he has 0 totals yards on 4 rushing attempts over the last 3 meetings. He will most likely be looking for revenge here today as his lone playoff meeting against the Patriots came back in the 2005 season, and he was less than stellar on that day, with 2 TD and 3 INT leading to the 41-27 loss. Still this is a big game and the Patriots are 16-3 ML at home in the playoffs under Brady, but the Steelers should have enough to keep this one within this inflated total. Too much talent on their offense and the defense should be able to keep it close enough. Go with the PITTSBURGH STEELERS and the UNDER in the AFC Championship......
Let's get that money!!
