4* Arizona Cardinals -2.5 -120 *GOW* *WINNER*
This line screams "square" but I don't care. First of all, the cardinals are a veteran excellent coached team full of leaders. If they were 4-0, I would be scared of a let down here, but they are coming off a loss to a hated division rival and you better believe this team is focused on winning the NFC West. Every game is big to them and they will not take the Lions lightly. The Cardinals are easily a better coached team then Detroit. The Cardinals thrive off the deep passing game, and the rams pose a bad matchup for them because of the dominate DLine. This Lions DLineis subpar, just had a major injury to Walker, and now has Ngata injured as well. Levy coming back is a huge boost for detroit but not enough. The Cardinals love to run and take deep shots... and the Lions are just not a great defensive team right now. I hated the body language from the Lions last week. You can tell Golden Tate is frustrated as hell.. Look at his body language against seattle and look at how he complained that defenses knew what was coming when they play the Lions. I sense this frustration for a lot of the Lions now including Calvin and Stafford. The Cardinals secondary is as intelligent as they come.. wouldnt be surprise to see them jump a few routes.. Especially since they can matchup well with the Lions weapons. The Lions OLine is in shambles, Tim Wright is starting at tight end.. they cant run the ball.. and staffords accuracy has been way off because he is starting to anticipate pressure, even when its not there. Not many teams in the NFL send more pressure then Arizona, which is the perfect thing to do against a QB that is beginning to sense pressure even when it isn't there. Only way I see us not covering this number is if we have turnovers.. which is the reason why Arizona lost against the rams.. lost the turnover battle 3-0 and outgained the Rams by over 100 yards. This is a team that is 16-3 in Palmers last 19 starts I believe. Loving Arizona in this spot on Sunday
3* Green Bay Packers -9 -110 *WINNER*
The Rams won the turnover battle 3-0 and escaped arizona with a 2 point win.. The only chance they have of covering this number is forcing turnovers IMO and rodgers just doesn't turn it over at home. I'm not a huge fan of Foles and this Packers D has actually been playing quite well.. This number is too short.. Should be at least double digits.
2* Houston Texans -4 -115 *LOSER*
I love Matt Hasselbeck.. One of my favorite quarterbacks of all time.. But I think he is done. His passes lack zip, he can't move like he once did.. He's basically a coach on the field at this point in his career. Add to it that he was in the hospital two nights ago with a virus and still is feeling the effects of it. This Colts team without Luck is putrid.. I understand the Texans defense has underachieved big time but Hasselbeck may not survive the game behind this colts line against Clowney/Watt. Making matters worse in the injury to Vontae Davis. Only a one unit play because of the line being 4 but had to fade Hasselbeck and the colts here.
1* Cleveland Browns +7 -120 *WINNER*
Why is joe Flacco struggling? Because nobody gets open.. And things are now worse with Steve Smith missing this game. Teams can stack the box when Kamar Aiken and marlin brown are you starting two WR.. no team with an offense looking this bad should be favored by a touchdown, especially against a Browns team that played Baltimore extremely tough last season.
1* Buffalo Bills PK -115 *Winner*
Buffalo defense takes over.. Mariota has struggled against pressure big time and I think this defense can hold them under 14 points and force a few turnovers today
1* Oakland Raiders +4.5 -110 *LOSER*
Khalil Mack against a backup LT.. Peyton laying this many points on the road against Del rio..this will be a one score game
1* Kansas City Chiefs -9.5 *LOSER*
Injuries for chicago.. Bad defense on the road.. Kc wakes up today big
1* San Diego Chargers -3 -135
never have layed this much juice on an NFL game but for 1 unit I think it's worth it to get the number down to three.. Vicks record ATS and steelers road record recently can't be ignored..
