I wonder if the Dolphins dropped Joe Philbin off at the Tower of London rather than Heathrow Airport after losing to the Jets? My surprise isn't that Philbin got fired, but why it took the Dolphins four years.
DeMarco Murray has 47 yards rushing through four games. He's averaging 1.6 yards per carry. If Murray would have stayed with the Cowboys he would have had 47 yards rushing through the first quarter of the first game.
Bill O'Brien is supposed to be a quarterback coaching guru. But if he doesn't realize that Brian Hoyer is better than Ryan Mallet than he should be ousted. Are Mallet and Blaine Gabbert the same person?
Maybe Devonta Freeman is better than I thought.
No quarterback has better weapons than Andy Dalton.
The Steelers need to take the training wheels off Michael Vick. Dummy down the playbook for the dummy if you have to, but let the guy play.
Kyle Brindza put on one of the all-time worst kicking exhibitions in NFL history during the last three weeks missing six field goals and two extra points. Why was he around so long before finally getting cut today? Only Lovie Smith can answer that.
The 49ers are on the clock.
A strong defensive front seven and a now healthy Todd Gurley make the Rams dangerous.
On the handicapping front, I am 17-7-1 (71%) on my NFL plays and have a play on tonight's Lions-Seahawks game. My plays and packages can be found here: /pregamepros/pro-bettor/bettor.aspx?id=7746#capper.
As always, let's have no bad luck!
