Yesterday it came out in a report that Tom Brady did know about the Footballs being deflated in their game vs the Colts. Should he be suspended for this and if so then how long?
Most sportsbooks have taken the Pats week 1 game vs Pittsburgh off the board until they find out whether he will be suspended. CG Technology did keep the game open for betting and lowered the line from the Pats -6 to -3.5 and if Brady is suspended then they will make the game a PK. General consensus is that Brady is worth about 7 points, but with they have to prepare without him the line adjustment won't be as much.
Dave doesn't feel he will be suspended. Other QBs in the league have come out and stated that they have had the ball tailored to them for certain games. Dave feels that they should just fine him.
He also states that the NFL is all about dollars and Cents and this is opening night of the NFL. Steelers vs Patriots, so do you think the NFL doesn't want Brady out there for that game?
Scott agrees and also states that if this is the Rams with Bradford, does anyone even care. It's just that it's Brady and the Pats, which everyone loves to hate. Scott feels that Brady was just so smug in his interview with a reporter abut the issue. That bothered Scott. He also states that the reason this gets blownout of proportion is social media. This wouldn't have even been an issue in the 80s.
