I had two plays I really liked tonight. I liked Kansas State +2.5 and Calgary Flames +135. I'd make both those plays again if I had the chance. They go 1-1 for no units. KSU wins outright and CGY loses by a goal. I'm fine with those results.
But I was watching the KSU game, and I felt like I had it in the bag. Idk why, but it felt like I had that game snuffed out and it was going my way. So I look at the KC-Oakland game. I wasn't going to put money on Oakland because I wouldnt be comfortable trusting them. So I thought KC or pass. But I've watched enough football to know that laying a TD+ in this particular spot was a terrible idea. In my heart of hearts, I knew KC -7.5 was a bad idea. But for some reason, as the clock was running out to make a bet on it, I put a bet down...
I knew 10 seconds before the game that it was a bad idea. I knew 5 seconds after I clicked bet, it was a bad idea. BUT I DID IT ANYWAY. And now I'm doing my best Nancy Kerrigan impression. Why??? I dont care about being on the wrong side. But WHY did I make that bet KNOWING it was unworthy of my money? This is how people blow their bankroll!
I am so disappointed, not because it was a big bet (cuz it wasnt), but because I know I better than that. smh.
