Don't be fooled by the idea that books are only looking to create numbers that will generate two way action. Even if books knew they could collect on the juice every time, they wouldn't do it. Everyone and anyone involved in this business has a little bit of gamble and greed in them. Our job as bettors is to predict where the line is going to go once the number has been put out, their job as books is to anticipate where the money will come based on the number they will put out for us. Books take stands to collect big. A perfect example would be the Ravens at Bengals game this season, they knew making the Bengals -3 would bring in Ravens +3 money. After the money kept pouring in on Ravens +3, the books had no problem making the Bengals +3 because they felt real strong about their initial opinion. Identify when books are taking a stand and you'll make money more often than not.
