Phil Steele Projection: Seattle 31 Denver 24
Weather: Sunny, mid-80's, winds 5-10 mph - This is the sixth regular season rematch of the previous years Super Bowl contestants & both teams can be forgiven for having a bit of lookahead with their results last week. The Broncos seem to have been holding some cards back the 1st 2 games simply happy to beat IND on SNF & not really bringing the hammer against a depleted KC team LW. KC actually had a chance to take the game to OT LW but ran out of time. The Seahawks
extra rest worked against them vs SD as Wilson was rusty & the team as a whole was worn down by heat & humidty. SEA is steamed after giving up 284 passing yds to SD & now have their 12th man to provide a hostile environment vs an offense that is essentially the same as what they faced in the Super Bowl. The Broncos did get Welker back this week but it's not known how much he'll get used. SEA is 8-1 at home off a loss, know what they are facing & aren't intimidated by it & let's take them by a TD here.
